Arc Edward Oladigbolu is a Lecturer II at the Department of Architecture, College of Environmental Sciences (COLENVS), Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Edward is a versatile and astute Architect with passion for knowledge in Architecture and the Construction Industry as a whole.

He has built up a wealth of experience from working with top Architectural firms since his Undergraduate days at the University of Lagos. The Practices range from Craft Masters Limited (Interior Deco firm), Cityscape International (Real Estate firm), and Form Annex Associates (Design-and-Build firm), spanning a 12-year period. He is a recipient of some local Architectural Competition Prizes. He was also short-listed for some foreign entries.

As a student of the current trends in the school of Architectural Revolution, Edward is very versatile with the latest and best Drafting and Design tools in practice. These include; 3Ds Studio Max, Autodesk Maya, AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, Lumen 3D, Corel Draw, Vector Works, Form Z, Autodesk Flow Design, Autodesk Simulation CFD, Ecotect Analysis, Sketch-Up, ArchiCAD, Microsoft Project, and Primavera amongst others. He is also very conversant with 3d printings in Architecture.

From his early years, Edward Adeshola Oladigbolu was fortunate to have realised his passion as a gifted Artist. He later enrolled for a formal Art training at Lukman College of Arts, Ibadan. There, he learnt the art of oil on canvas, acrylic, water colors, pastel etc. He later became a Certified Desktop Publisher with the skills for Advanced Computer Graphics, Simulations and Animations. He then registered for his Bachelor’s Degree B.Sc and M.E.D. in Architecture from the University of Lagos. Arc Oladigbolu badged a Distinction (4.56) on graduation. Due to his passion for knowledge and excellence, he further registered for and completed a second Master’s Degree in Project Management.

He is a full (registered) Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Member – Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and Association of Architectural Educators (AARCHES). He is also competent in a number of other international certifications which include Building performance Analysis by Autodesk, 5SRW (choasgroup for 3Ds Studio Max) amongst others.

Presently, his lecturing commitments include - Architectural Graphics 1 & 2 (100 & 200 Level Students), Project Planning and Control (400 Level), Building Components (400 Level), Maintenance Management MSc. 1, Construction Management For M.Sc. 1 and M.Sc. 2 studio critique.

Edward Oladigbolu is currently a Researcher on the PhD programme at the University of Lagos. His research interest is on “the Building Envelope and its Relative Performance to Energy Efficiency and Thermal Comfort.”
